As our family prepared for our daughter's bi-annual medical testing we went forward in church for prayer. Our Pastor asked our daughter if he could anoint her with oil. Our daughter, being wise in her 6 years, boldly inquired as to "what kind of oil is it?", "Olive Oil", replied our Pastor. Our daughter declined the anointing of oil, her reason? "I don't want someone to put food on my head! It is Olive Oil you know!". What more could we say?
I'm pleased to report that the prayers have worked. This was the calmest ever for these tests and the preliminary results are looking very good.
